The Reykjavik Arts Festival brings joy and beauty to the city from May
18th till June 3rd; with its brilliant and diverse programme.
The programme
this year is classical yet progressive, new creations within every genre
will be premiered, as well as exciting
collaborations between artists,
art fields and audiences. The programme will feature grand performances
of classical pieces
and pop music pioneers make their mark on this
year's festival. Original theatre and dance performances take place all
over
town as well as a large-scale international art project that will
take over the city's art venues this spring. Hundreds of artists are
involved in the festival, from Russia, Spain, France, the Baltic
Countries, Switzerland, Britain, Germany, USA, and all the Nordic
countries, as well as Iceland.
